1.0 Product description Laryngeal mask airways (LMA) are single-use or reusable supraglottic airway devices that may be used as a temporary method to maintain an open airway during the administration of anesthesia or as an immediate life-saving measure in a difficult or failed airway as outlined in the difficult airway algorithm published by many societies of anesthesiology worldwide. 2.0 Instructions  Made of medical grade silicone  The color for the cuff can be customized: blue, yellow  Both with and without aperture bars are available  Autoclavable at 134°C (Warning: Deflate the cuff completely before sterilization and before use)  Reusable up to 40 times Speciality  Eliminates all possibility of infections being transmitted between patients  Flexible optic fibre makes access easy  Thanks to the semi-transparent tube, condensation is clearly visible  Does not induce laryngeal spasms  Reduces the risk of obstruction of the upper respiratory tracts  Laryngeal is no longer necessary  Lesser incidences of hypoxia
