Integrated Delivery System (IDS)
The first procedural advancement in coronary artery stenting in 20-years
As focus in today’s healthcare environment shifts toward cost containment, improving procedural efficiencies and patient outcomes is increasingly important. While significant progress has been made in improving patient outcomes with coronary artery stenting, little has been done to address the time and cost necessary for its successful completion.
The IDS is an efficient, ‘all-in-one’ approach to coronary artery stenting. Cut from a slotted tube of fine grain L-605 cobalt chromium, the Svelte stent is pre-mounted on a delivery system consisting of a 0.014” (0.36 mm) shapeable, radiopaque wire tip, delivery balloon and proximal shaft compatible with 5 F (≥ 0.056” / 1.42 mm ID) guide catheters. Often eliminating the need for extra guide wires and balloons, this ‘slender’ approach to PCI simplifies procedures and allows for efficient utilization of cath lab resources, providing significant cost savings to healthcare providers
