An optional built-in low pressure quaternary gradient mixer gives the user flexibility for choosing applications needing complex water/solvent gradients as often encountered in reversed phase chromatography as well as reliable gradient formation and robust operation for high salt containing buffer gradients as often used in protein chromatography applications.
