The Rapid Lateral Flow Test for SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit is a reliable immunochromatographic test designed to detect the presence of Nucleocapsid protein (N protein), an antigen that is specific to SARS-CoV-2, in nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab specimens directly collected from individuals who are suspected of COVID-19.
Detection Target:
The presence of SARS-CoV-2 is determined by the presence Nucleocapsid protein (N protein). During testing, the specimen reacts with SARS-CoV-2 antibody-coated particles in the test strip. The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action.
Q-Check® Rapid Lateral Flow Assay for SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit is fast, easy and safe to use.
CE IVD approved
If SARS-CoV-2 present in the sample, antibody conjugated particles will accumulate on the T line, leading to an eye-visible red line. Test is validated by the formation of eye visible C line
Negative:
If control (C) line is visible to eye and test line is not visible to eye.
Positive:
If Control (C) line is visible to the eye and also test line is visible to the eye. If T (Test) line is visible, SARS-CoV-2 virus is present in the swab sample. Any shade of color in the test region should be considered positive.
Invalid:
If the control (C) line is not visible regardless of the status of the test line, the test is considered invalid, and the test must be repeated with a new set.
