SynDaver non-clinical respirators combine a soft silicone face seal with a high-quality filter membrane to create a superior alternative to handmade cloth masks, or loose fitting masks. Like all SynDaver products, our respirator is designed and manufactured in the USA with 100% USA sourced components. Materials of construction include skin-tested, prosthetics-grade silicone rubber, food-grade polypropylene plastic, and filter media made from electrostatically charged polyester to MERV 13 specifications. Each respirator will ship with 10 filters. These should be replaced when they become soiled, are visibly torn, are no longer easy to breathe through, or have been in use for more than 40 hours or 30 days, whichever comes first. The respirator may be cleaned with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide solutions, or soap and water followed by wiping down and air drying. The mask is sterilizable using gamma radiation, ethylene oxide, or hydrogen peroxide plasma. Do not autoclave.
