The Synicem KYP Système Set has been designed to perform the percutaneous treatment of vertebral bodies by means of the balloon kyphoplasty tecnique.
The balloon kyphoplasty is used for the percutaneous treatment of vertebral body fractures (mainly in acute cases), where it is sought to restore the height of a vertebral body, or in those cases where cement application through other methods might be liable to produce a cement leakage. We recommend the use of Synicem KYP cement for this surgical procedure.
