The SmartChip Real-Time RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 Reagents are used to perform high-throughput qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acids in nasopharyngeal swab samples. The assay is performed using primers specific to SARS-CoV-2 on the SmartChip Real-Time PCR System and detects viral RNA, generally present in upper respiratory regions during infection.
The reagent kit contains enough reagents for one chip run with 378 samples and 6 controls (negative control in triplicate, positive control in duplicate, and an extraction control).
