MedCab 3.0 – Is the software used in all the MedCabinet Systems. It was design from the ground up specifically to run the MedCabinet. The software team worked not just to make it work on as a stand-alone system but also to make sure if could be interfaced to your accounting, eMAR/patient records, billing and inventory systems. Like an app on your smart phone MedCab 3.0 is design to work in concert with your existing systems. With patient safety always first and foremost in our mind, MedCab 3.0 was designed to rely on bar scans of medications to insure the right medication get to the right patient anytime and every time. MedCab 3.0 is designed to interface with the MedCabinet using standard USB cabling. Multiple cabinets can be “chained” together with USB cables. They can show up in MedCab 3.0 as one system or as sererate cabinets depending on your needs. Built in reports function makes pulling information for specific patients, inventory value, expiring medications, Par levels or any other need, quick and easy. Specific reports can be customized to your unique needs as well.
