Our full line of Clinical Chemistry Reagent kits are compatible with both manual and automated chemistry analyzers. Kits are available in both powder and ready-to-use liquid formats.
Method:
Colorimetric, Endpoint
Testing Procedure:
Manual
Wavelength:
505 nm
Linearity:
120 IU/L
Expected Values:
5‐35 IU/L
It is strongly suggested that each laboratory establish its own range of expected values.
Reagent Deterioration:
Discard the reagent if turbidity and precipitation has occurred.
Discard the reagent if it fails to meet linearity claims or fails to recover control values in
the stated range.
Limitations of Procedure:
Pyridoxal phosphate can elevate ALT values by activating the apoenzyme form of the
transaminase.
High levels of serum pyruvate may also interfere with assay performance.
