Our full line of Clinical Chemistry Reagent kits are compatible with both manual and automated chemistry analyzers. Kits are available in both powder and ready-to-use liquid formats.
Method:
Kinetic
Testing Procedure:
Automated
Wavelength:
340 nm
Linearity:
5‐400 IU/L
Expected Values:
Normal Range: Male: 10‐40 U/L(37°C)
Female: 7‐35 U/L(37°C)
It is strongly suggested that each laboratory establish its own range of expected values.
Reagent Deterioration:
Discard if either reagent appears to be cloudy or contains particulate matter.
The working reagent is stable for 2 weeks at 2‐8°C. The working reagent should be
discarded if the initial absorbance, read against distilled water at 340nm, is below 1.000.
Limitations of Procedure:
Hemolysis must be avoided as the concentration of ALT in red cells is roughly 5 times
that of serum.
