Dormo cup electrodes are in the shape of small spoons that capture and emit the electrical signal from the patient’s head.
Registration is obtained by placing electrodes, attached to an individual wire, on the scalp with an adhesive and conductive gel paste, usually after having prepared the placement area by light abrasion to reduce the impedance of dead scalp cells.
Signal clarity, efficiency and ease of use are the main advantages of Dormo cup electrodes. They are designed with flexible cables and optimized connector for easy headbox insertion and extraction.
Available in a standard size of 10 mm in diameter and a reduced size of 6 mm for paediatric use or for registrations in more specific areas.
