TensCare Flexistim IF is a powerful and versatile electrotherapy device that uses Interferential Therapy with a choice of preset programmes and manual settings. The Interferential Therapy, or just IF, which is the core of this electrotherapy device is the type of treatment that delivers continuous stimulation deep into tissues. This way it is capable of dealing with deep seated pains. Additionally, Interferential Therapy is used to reduce swelling and inflammation, both of which can sometimes be the source of the pain. When Flexistim IF is in use, electrical impulses are sent through self-adhesive electrode pads which are placed on the skin around the area of pain.
