The non-invasive measurement of pulse wave analysis and pulse wave velocity is accepted more and more in revealing early, subclinical atherosclerosis and vascular calcification. The early diagnosis allows us to start the appropriate therapy in due time to reduce the number of the severe and fatal consequences of the atherosclerosis. However, the threshold values of central blood pressure and aortic pulse wave velocity are based on office measured values and we do not have normal and abnormal 24 hours mean values of the mentioned parameters. The Arteriograp24 device helps to fill up this niche. It is based on the clinically validated and widely used Arteriograph method. It can be programmed for 24 or 48 hours operation. During this period the device performs the measurement of peripheral and central blood pressure, augmentation index and aortic pulse wave velocity, for example 15 minutes daytime and 30 minutes nighttime frequency. Of course the measurement frequency can freely be programmed. With the comprehensive TensioWin software the measured parameters are graphically and statistically presented for further medical evaluation and analysis.
