The CAT+ DOPPLER / BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR allows a practitioner to monitor conscious blood pressure for hypertension, as well as listen to a pulse while patient is under anaesthesia. • Swab pulse site with alcohol or warm soapy water • Fit blood pressure cu • Apply ultrasound gel to pulse monitoring site • Lightly place probe over pulse site • Turn on CAT+ Doppler and adjust to preferred volume • Continue to hold probe over pulse or tape in place while monitoring patient
