Strong support is provided by the device to provide complete immobilization. It is rate 8-10 on the scale of 1-10. In the scale 1 is light support, 10 is full immobilization. There are neoprene wrap, velcro tabs, thermoplastic sheet, foam padding and nylon support straps in the Splint Kit. In order to achieve full immobilization the thermoplastic sheet is formed over the wrap. Strong support and thermoplastic splint helps to Stabilize and Immobilize the wrist. Hyperextention and carpal deviations are reduced by this.
