The THERA-Trainer bemo is a robotic-assisted in-bed cycling trainer for early mobilisation in intensive and acute care for legs or upper body. Also used for training during dialysis.
An award-winning system for early mobilisation.
Latest research recommends early mobilisation from day one, but due to a lack of time and staff, therapy is often not possible, too late, or not sufficient.
The bemo ensures that patients are able to gain movement efficiently whilst still bed-bound. Training can be active with muscle power, assisted or passive with motor support.
The in-bed cycling program improves strength, cardiovascular fitness and metabolism – for better outcomes and reduced length of ICU and hospital stay.
Safe and powerful training thanks to the latest technology.
The THERA-Trainer bemo has a new, safe and powerful drive technology without shearing points, for active, assisted and passive training. Including snap-on accessories and range of movement detection. The system makes safe therapy as easy as child’s play: It supports with an additional sensor for distance detection between device and patient, audio-visual signals and an optical positioning aid – so that patients are always safe.
Features you’ll love.
THERA-Trainer bemo can be easily wheeled from bed to bed. A patented portal design allows use for almost all bed types, but still requires little space. Patients can train legs and upper body in a recumbent or semi-recumbent position – no transfer is needed.
Quick and easy setup
In less than 2 minutes, with electric portal height adjustment and patented quick-release swaps.
