The Thermofinder non-contact thermometer offers two functions (1) body temperature, simply point towards patients temporal artery (within 2-5cms) and press the start button to take a reading, and (2) ambient/surface temperature, which allows the reading of air temperature and surface temperature (bath water, baby’s feeding bottles). The response time is less than 1 second and the readings are available in °C/°F from a multi-colour easy to read back-lit display.
