It enjoys all advantages of our TRO-VENOCATH i.v. cannulas but additionally shows the following safety features: -special self-activating safety clip which covers the needle tip immediately after the needle has been removed from the catheter -The safety mechanism cannot be bypassed but requires no change in application technique -User protection from needle-stick injuries and inadvertent infection -Safety clip prevents needle frombeing reused TRO-VENSITE safety plus with injection port for application of additionalmedication.
