Transition without Losing Position The PiggyBack® Wire Converter is a 0.035” outer diameter wire converter that can be delivered over and locked onto a 0.014” guidewire to allow subsequent delivery of 0.035” compatible catheters, sheaths and devices. 0.035” O.D. for delivery of standard 0.035” devices 0.014” I.D. for delivery over standard 0.014” guidewires Hydrophilic coating on distal 18cm for smooth delivery Embedded radiopaque marker band for visualization under fluoroscopy 0.014” Inside, 0.035” Outside The PiggyBack® Wire Converter is useful for peripheral procedures requiring a 0.014” guidewire for easier access and a 0.035” guidewire for more support. The PiggyBack® Wire Converter is designed to convert a 0.014” guidewire to a 0.035” platform without losing vessel placement or exchanging guidewires. The PiggyBack® Wire Converter is intended to be used with guidewires to access the peripheral vasculature and to facilitate placement of interventional devices.
