The Sterile Lower Surgical Access blanket MA2285 is designed to warm the lower part of your patient in various surgical positions in the sterile field. The window of approximately 15 x 40 cm provides a clear view of the inguinal area.
Prevent unwanted airflow
The Carida Sterile blanket MA2285 features adhesive tape to prevent unwanted airflow across the surgical field.
Blue 2 Body is the norm when using our warming blankets.
Mistral-Air® blankets need to be used with the soft blue material towards the patient’s skin. The blue side provides the air distribution towards the patient.
Always unfold and position the blanket with the blue side towards your patient skin.
Use the optional hose clamp
The air inlet is located at the foot end of the blanket.
To begin warming, first, open the perforated strips of the air inlet and insert the hose end. Insert the hose into the hose connector until the ring is fully plugged in. Secure the hose with the hose clamp, and switch on the Mistral-Air® warming unit. Warming therapy begins at the default temperature setpoint of 38 degrees Celsius.
