The VexPander® Non-Compliant PTCA Balloon Catheter is designed for PCI procedures aimed at widening narrowed or obstructed arteries, typically to treat arterial atherosclerosis. The catheter is passed over a wire into the narrowed locations and then inflated to a fixed size. The balloon forces expansion of the occlusive vessel, opening up the blood vessel for improved flow, and the balloon is then deflated and withdrawn.
Advantages of VexPander®
•Endured High Pressure (>20 Bars) and Rupture-Resistant Design: Ensures safety during dilatation.
•Non-Compliant Design: Specifically designed for pre-drug-eluting balloon (DEB) or/and post-stenting dilatation.
•Excellent Crossability: Taper-tip design for easy penetration.
•Great Trace/Travelability: Low balloon profile, clearer marker band, and easy traveling & tracing inside the vessel.
•Precision Expansion: Precision-controlled balloon compliance and length expansion.
•Maximum Pushability/Deliverability: TranSmooth™ design ensures maximum pushability in most torque vessels.
•Minimum Intro-Profile: Makes it easy for use in small vessels.
