The EK-250 electrosurgical unit prioritizes patient safety in its design. Upon startup, the device performs a self-check of all modes and only allows operation after confirming that no issues are present. If the patient plate loses contact, the device automatically cuts off the output.
Description
The cutting and coagulation modes have distinct alert sounds, making them easily distinguishable during use. Additionally, the device provides an audible alert if the patient plate loses contact. The EK-250 model features two monopolar and one bipolar outputs, allowing two surgeons to use it sequentially in monopolar mode or simultaneously in bipolar mode. With its integrated vessel sealing feature, vessels up to 7 mm can be effectively sealed. Advanced memory capabilities allow users to store up to 50 frequently used modes with personalized names, and these can be easily recalled. The device also keeps a log of the last 99 technical faults, which can be viewed in the fault menu. The EK-250 model is equipped with two separate boards for monopolar and bipolar functions, allowing continued operation with the other board in case one fails. The device has universal connection ports compatible with internationally standardized accessories.
