Description

The Talon Grasping Device is a four-prong grasper specifically designed to provide the firm hold required for challenging food bolus and foreign body retrieval cases. Uniquely engineered, this atraumatic grasper helps grip into meat impactions or around foreign bodies providing the strength required for a swift retrieval while minimizing trauma to the surrounding area. Designed to mimic the capabilities of an Osprey sea hawk, this four prong grasper is intended for the retrieval of foreign bodies, food impactions in the esophagus due to achalasia, tissue specimens, stones or calculi in endoscopic procedures of the gastrointestinal tract. Stainless steel, four-prong grasper design provides a sturdy grip and maintains integrity throughout procedures Atraumatic grasper features inward facing hooks to facilitate a strong grip into meat impactions and food boluses for a swift retrieval Single-use design provides consistent performance each time the device is used Can also be utilized for removal of food in the esophagus due to achalasia or migrated esophageal stents
