Description

The Gilras GR-TL36 Trial Lenses Set has 232 glass lens pieces in plus and minus cylinders mounted in color-coded plastic rings. It is a complete set of trial lenses that will allow you to perform better testing on your aging and low vision patients. Cylinder and prismatic lenses in square shape fits the mounts completely to help prevent rotation. Each set is handcrafted with optically true lens centers. This classic form of refraction enhances prescription accuracy for low vision patients in particular, offering accurate vertex distance, which is very helpful for high refractive error patients. Similarly, any patient who relies on eccentric viewing and needs to move their eyes or head to see around a scotoma can greatly benefit from trial frame refracting. The GR-TL36 includes a wood removable tray with metal handles for ease of use and has diopter indicators. The case is made of aluminum with leatherette cover with two combination locks for security. Color Coded Rings Lenses are easily identifiable. Minus lens rings are red, plus lens rings are black and accessory lenses are grey. Spheres The kit includes both concave (-) and convex (+) spherical lenses to examine myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia. Cylinders Examine astigmatism with the plus and minus cylindrical lenses included in the GR-TL36. Prisms You can perform prism testing and training with the GR-TL36 Trial Lenses. Frosted Lens Use this semi-transparent cover lens for babies or outside of the room as an occluder. Slit Lens Examine astigmatism by turning this lens in front of the eye.
