The ETN-1800 Tonometer is a first-class automatic non-contact tonometer that provides quick and accurate measurements of intraocular pressure (IOP) with a single tap. The ETN-1800 integrates intelligent software, high-quality components, and effortless operation into the ideal tonometer that is perfect for any practice. The Tonometer ETN-1800 is designed with ease of use at the forefront. Once the patient’s head is placed in the attached motorized chin rest, the operator needs only to adjust the height of the chin rest and press a button on the built-in touchscreen display. The onboard software suite takes care of the rest and delivers results quickly and consistently. The ETN-1800 tonometer uses its advanced 3D tracking software to track the center of the patient’s pupil to minimize the influence of eye movements and make fine adjustments accordingly; no joystick required. This dramatically increases the speed of each exam, cutting time spent and improving patient throughput without additional extensive training. The built-in software of the ETN-1800 also allows it to use a quieter and softer air puff for applanation than other devices. This, combined with the rapid exam speed, maximizes patient comfort.
