Neitz has poured its 50 years of medical optics expertise into the NTZ-Headlight NSI-III to produce a versatile, high-powered illuminator for ophthalmic examinations or surgical operations with the BL line of loupes. The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III achieves the perfect combination of adaptability and affordability without sacrificing quality. WITH ITS WIDE-RANGING VERSATILITY, EXCEPTIONAL LIGHTING, AND PORTABLE FORM-FACTOR, THE NTZ-HEADLIGHT NSI-III IS AN IDEAL ILLUMINATOR FOR THE CLINIC, THE ROAD, AND ANYWHERE IN BETWEEN. The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III is powered by included rechargeable NiMH AA "Eneloop" batteries and can deliver the brightest illumination level for 4 hours. The NSI-III can run for 7 hours at the middle-intensity level and a whopping 17 hours at low illumination, enough to power through even the longest days in the clinic. The NTZ-Headlight NSI-III comes packaged with a battery charger that can recharge the batteries in just 4 hours. This device can also be used with standard replaceable AAs, giving it the versatility to function on the road and during outages in emergency situations. The housing of the battery pack easily fits most jacket pockets, and the long cable connecting it to the LED illuminator makes it effortless to use and carry. This design avoids placing all the weight on the nose and makes it comfortable for any duration of use.
