All Lens Materials
Free up space with the DM-1000. This unit does it all and is ideal for drilling holes in glass, plastic and polycarbonate lenses.
Simultaneous Dual-Sided Drilling
With the Luxvision DM-1000, opposing tapered drill bits bore holes simultaneously from both sides of the lens, allowing for precise drilling while safeguarding against chipping and breaking. After the hole is drilled, the lens reamer can be used to enlarge the hole to the desired size. The lens support arm and suction cup maintain the correct drilling angle.
Accurate Distance and Hole Size
Drill holes are precisely reamed to achieve perfect accuracy (adjustable from 0.8 mm to 2.8mm). The distance from the edge of the lens to the point to be drilled can be adjusted from 2.0mm to 8.0mm in steps of 0.5mm.
Reamer Capabilities
The DM-1000 features a built-in Reamer that allows users to enlarge hole sizes from 1.5mm to 2.5mm.
Twist Drill Bit Option
By using an optional accessory, users can switch over to one-sided twist bit drilling.
