Mitral annuloplasty system Cardinal

A post-pump, semi-rigid annuloplasty ring which enables ring diameter fine tuning and optimization of leaflet coaptation on a beating heart under real-time echocardiographic guidance. Once the heart re-starts, fine tuning of the ring diameter may proceed under echo guidance, before the handle is remotely detached from the ring and pulled out of the atrium. The Cardinal ring is suitable for open chest as well as minimally invasive procedures. The ring perimeter covers the same size range as other commercial rings (24-40).
