Description

Seismofit® System Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), measured as VO2-max, may be estimated by the Seismofit® System using of seismocardiography. Seismofit® measures vibrations that arise from heart beats and are transmitted to the chest. Each heart has its own signature relating to opening and closing of valves and the relaxation and contraction of the heart chambers. The Seismofit® device is small in size, measuring only 3 cm in width, 5 cm in length and 1.5 cm in height. The device weighs less than 25 grams. The device is powered by a replaceable battery and features a high-performance accelerometer and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) communication. The system further includes an adhesive patch, a smartphone app and a cloud-based algorithm.
