The Virshields filtering half mask FFP2 is made of 5 layers of non-woven Spunbond-Meltblown-Hot Air Cotton-Meltblown-Spunbond fabrics, 3D-formed.
The inner layer is a hydrophilic, non-woven spunbond fabric that is used to absorb moisture, including moisture released by the user. The outer layer is hydrophobic spunbond to protect users from splashes. The filter layers in the middle - polypropylene meltblown, Hot Air Cotton (which plays the role of heat isolation and improves the wearer’s comfort) and another layer of polypropylene meltblown are a barrier against germs.
Additionally, the mask contains a double wire nose bridge and flat ear loops (5 mm elastic) to adjust the mask to the users face.
The Virshields filtering half mask FFP2 is an individual protection measure used to protect against the harmful effects of air pollution in the form of solid particles and/or liquid particles forming aerosols (dusts, fumes and mists). The mask meets the requirements of the standard harmonized with the Regulation of European Parliament and is in accordance with EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009.
The Virshield filtering half mask FFP2 is intended for single use. The product is non-invasive, not sterile and designed for short-term use. Bacterial Filtering effect is at a level of ≥ 94%.
