Description
The Elevated Plus Maze test is a simple method to assess anxiety-like behaviors in rodents. The maze consists of a plus-shaped apparatus with two open arms that have no wall and two closed arms that have surrounding walls kept on a stand whose height is around 60cm. Anxious animals try to stay in closed arms because of unconditioned fear of high and open spaces.
