Bone drilling must be done carefully and taking into account the different bone density characteristics (Type I-IV). Important considerations (to be taken) during bone drilling · Use copious/profuse external irrigation of pre-refrigerated NaCl at 5ºC solution. · Prepare the implant bed site with sequential drilling (straight up-and-down motion during osteotomy). · Drill the osteotomy using light pressure. Recommended drill speed: (Must be individualised based on the bone density type)
