Sure correction of severe hallux malpositions
Load-bearing osteosynthesis, including correction up to the medullary canal width
Three-dimensional positional correction without any additional incisions, by means of punctate bone contact
Mobilization in normal shoes with free mobility without strappings
Functional loading as a component of the osteosynthesis technique leads to early, pain-free mobilization and therefore significantly faster rehabilitation
3 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm offset
Osteosynthesis implant for correcting hallux-valgus malalignments and deformities. The LINK Stofella Internal Hallux Fixator is a dynamic osteosynthesis implant which is used in distal osteotomy of the first metatarsal bone for correcting hallux valgus malalignments. The Stoffella osteotomy is a subcapital oblique osteotomy of the first metatarsal bone in a plane with arms opened distally at an angle of 90°-120°. The metatarsal head is impacted in the desired position without any additional incisions, by moving, tipping, and turning in the oblique osteotomy. The fragments do not require surface contact, but merely an osseous contact at two points. This enables lateralization by up to the width of the medullary canal.
