The laminar flow recirculation cabin model WK ensures reliable personnel, product and room protection. HEPA-filtered, particle-free, low-turbulence air flows vertically through the work area. Harmful dust released during handling is carried downwards in a safe and controlled manner by the directed airflow and extracted close to the floor. The laminar flow cabin complies with cleanliness class ISO 5 in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
The WK-II version of the laminar flow weighing cabin is suitable for activities such as mixing, filling, weighing, and sampling hazardous and irritant materials. This unit is also used to integrate larger laboratory automation systems, such as liquid handling robots. An additional filter stage (WK-III) is integrated for active or toxic substances. Work equipment, such as floor scales and bench scales, can be brought into the protected area with ease. The rear panel can be equipped with scale terminals, HMIs and media channels. Slatted curtains or sliding doors can be installed as needed. Optional fittings include sockets, data sockets, media connections (gas, water, vacuum, nitrogen), cable ducts and dry cooling.
