Glove ports in isolators, RABS and barrier systems must be regularly tested for leaks in accordance with GMP Annex 1. This is the only way to guarantee the sterility of the systems. The glove testing device from Weiss Pharmatechnik offers reliable in-situ testing. It is fully automated and enables fast and uncomplicated glove tests in accordance with cGMP.
The device has an integrated glove filling pump and can be easily operated using two buttons. All relevant information such as pressure display, battery status, measurement data and results are shown on the digital display. The measurements take between 8 and 15 minutes, depending on the glove size and material. The glove port is fixed and sealed by a pneumatically filled rubber seal and is electronically controlled. The glove tester is suitable for cleanrooms and certified to IP64. It has only a few grooves and edges and is easy to clean. The Weiss Pharmatechnik service program includes all qualification services and regular maintenance of the glove testers, including calibration.
