This high quality classic skull with 8 masticatory muscles is medically detailed in structure.
The skull is 3-part. The calvaria is removable to show the internal structure of the skull. The mandible is articulated with spring to show jaw movements. It shows the details of the bone structures. All of the joints, sutures, fissures, foramen, and styloid processes are highly accurate.
The 4 large masticatory muscles (temporalis and masseter muscles, lateral and medial pterygoid muscles) are represented and can be remove individually and reassembled in their natural positions. The muscles of mastication are shown exactly in their natural size and form.
