Human EML4-ALK fusion gene detection kit(PCR-Fluorescence Probe Method)
This product is used for qualitative detection in vitro of 12 human EML4-ALK fusion genes (V1, V2, V3a, V3b, V4, V5a, V5b, V5 ", V6, V7, V8a, V8b) in formalin fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
The fusion gene of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene and echinodermic microtubule associated protein-like 4 (EML4) is one of the newly discovered molecular targets in non-small cell lung cancer. The activated EML4-ALK fusion gene has biological activity. Through the activation and transmission of downstream substrate molecules, each transduction pathway crosses and overlaps with each other, It has formed a complex signal transduction network that affects cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis [1-3]. Through cloning transformation experiment in vitro and selective expression experiment in lung based on gene recombination in vivo, it was confirmed that different EML4-ALK fusion mutants have the ability of malignant transformation and tumorigenicity. Based on these evidences, the fusion gene can be defined as a driving oncogene of lung cancer [4,5].
