Compared with the hypodermic needle, the safety needle adds a safety shield, which will be handled by the nurse to shield the contaminated needle tip. USA was the first country who promotes the usage of safety needles. Medline’s safety needles were approved by the USA FDA since 2017. Medline’s safety needle has invention patents and a number of international design patents. It is among the first Chinese factory who has got the certificate of FDA safety needle. The function of safety shield is similar to BD’s safety needle, but made some distinctions: 1) Medline develops long and short safety cap for different needle length; 2) Edge cutting design on safety cap, easier for the nurse to press down; 3) The same color between the needle hub and safety sheath, conforming to ISO standard; 4) Unique spring structure design, easier to open the safety cap, reducing the operating burden. * 4 locking points, the safety mechnism won't be destroyed easily; * Colorful needle hub and safety cap, easy for the distinguish of needle guage; * Smaller size, convenient for the nurse's usage.
