The Barany chair is used to validation of the vestibular system in a patient, by rotating around its axis. KV-1 is a seat mounted on four stationary support. In the back its part is rigidly mounted a handle with which the chair is driven in the rotational movement. For patient safety the chair has a chain fastener.
