This kit is used to quantitatively detect the content of cystatin C in human serum or plasma in vitro. Background of Clinical Indications It is used for the auxiliary diagnosis of diseases such as glomerular filtration rate functional damage, and is the best endogenous marker of early renal insufficiency, which can accurately and reliably reflect the glomerular filtration function; in the case of mild to moderate renal damage, the positive detection rate of cystatin C is higher than that of serum creatinine, and even when the creatinine clearance rate is at the bottom of the reference range, the change of cystatin C can be observed; it is used for the evaluation of diabetes and early loss of renal filtration function, the changes of renal function in hemodialysis patients and the monitoring of renal function during chemotherapy.
