Silicone wound dressing

Silicone foam dressing for wounds is a foam dressing with a silicone gel coating, that is used to provide a moist wound environment, most commonly in wounds with moderate-to-heavy exudate. They are very adaptable dressings and provide a cushioning effect, making them suitable for bony prominences or areas of increased friction, such as pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, arterial ulcers, skin tears, surgical wounds, superficial partial thickness burns, and donor sites.
