ZM-Equator® Abutment The ZIACOM® ZM-Equator® Overdenture Anchorage System is a straight abutment with a reduced diameter of 2.1mm. The ZM-Equator® abutment offers a solution for cases of narrow alveolar flanges and/or reduced prosthetic space. They are available in different gingival heights, for external and internal connection. They are made of grade 5 titanium with a nitrided coating, which increases fatigue strength and reduces the risk of loosening. The gold-coloured abutment provides the aesthetics required for prosthetic restoration and the connection is 1.25 mm hexagonal. The processing packs available for this abutment consist of a metal housing, a block-out spacer and plastic retentions; one laboratory black coping and three additional ones with different degrees of retention.
