Description

ROSA ONE Brain can increase the speed for multiple trajectory neurosurgical cases. One study found SEEG procedures performed with robotic assistance were an average of 3 hours and 42 minutes faster than traditional frame-based procedures. The accuracy provided by the robotic arm2 makes ROSA One Brain an ideal platform for neurosurgery – ensuring the instruments are placed in the planned area while avoiding critical structures. ROSA ONE Brain allows many neurosurgical procedures to be performed minimally invasive, often without needing to shave the entire head. Features Innovative Technology and Functionality ROSA’s arm is engineered with 6-degrees-of-freedom, allowing exceptional dexterity and flexibility to access surgical sites Once trajectory has been set, the rigidity of the robotic arm ensures no accidental movements Features force torque sensor technology which creates a seamless interface between surgeon and technology Preoperative planning allows the surgical plan to be created days before the surgery Multiple registration and head fixation options allow flexibility to match the surgeon’s workflow Versatile Workflow Multiple registration, patient positioning, and head fixation options allow flexibility to match the surgeon's workflow for any stereotactic procedure. State-of-the-Art Robotic Arm Arm is engineered with 6° of freedom, providing a stereotactic device with the dexterity and flexibility needed to access surgical sites. Accurate Lead Placement Once trajectory has been set, the rigidity of the robotic arm and secure patient fixation provide high accuracy in implant placement during minimally invasive neurosurgery.
