With the new Colour Liquid Prettau® Aquarell Opaque it is now possible to colour copings and monolithic crowns in zirconia in order to cover non-aesthetic and dark dies, substructures or cervical areas. On zirconia copings, the Colour Liquid Prettau® Aquarell Opaque can be applied once, either inside or outside. Application on the outer surface enhances the covering effect of the Opaque Liquid. On copings, the colouring liquid has a very strong opacifying effect, even on very thin walls, with a thickness of 0.3 mm. - Crowns can be infiltrated with the colouring liquid once, only on the inside, in order to preserve the aesthetic result of monolithic and reduced structures. They should have a wall thickness of at least 0.7 mm so that the base colour of pre-coloured zirconia types is retained. The final tooth shape as well as the dentine colour is achieved with the ceramics layering, for example with ICE Ceramics.
