AST Biomedical

AST is an Italian company operating in the field of medical technology, which creates and produces both software and hardware, from the project idea, through the design, up to the final production, thanks to a team of highly specialised professionals.

AST is establishing itself in the international market thanks to its production of instruments for the analysis of human and animal serum in ELISA and Clia in Beads technology. Clia technology, as we know, to date is the prerogative of few companies in the world. Actually AST has a high percentage of production destined for export and it is growing.

A.S.T. Srl, and its AST BioMedical division, is a company free from external participations and is a well-structured SME, ready to increase its business volumes. The Company is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and is accredited to the United Nations Global Compact and its 36 component agencies. In addition, as a further guarantee towards its customers of its professionalism and respect for confidentiality, AST is registered in the Transparency Register of the European Community.

AST's internal team has specific technical skills but, when necessary, the Company makes use of external collaborators for support. Only non-strategic processes are performed by external suppliers (mechanical parts, electrical panels, production of electronic boards, wiring) to guarantee the confidentiality of the projects owned by AST and its Client Companies.

AST has three partners, all operational, who boast vast experience gained in the field of research and development of diagnostic tools and more, but, as already specified, the Company does not make use of external professionals in the sectors covered by technological secrecy, having in-house all the knowledge necessary for the development of medical instruments. Furthermore, AST does not use pre-packaged HW&SW packages, which usually cause difficulties in finding solutions, because the company is always attentive to customer satisfaction.
