Custom Surgical

There is a lack of coverage in the diagnosis of eye, dental, and ENT pathologies, especially in developing countries. It's mainly caused by the lack of trained doctors and technology created and produced for the developed countries, without taking into account the need of doctors in developing countries. Custom Surgical is on a mission to democratize medical equipment and improve patient care by providing affordable optical recording systems (developed in close collaboration with doctors from different backgrounds) and software with telemedicine applications (to enable senior doctors to mentor their colleagues remotely).

Custom Surgical was founded in Munich, Germany, in 2018 by mechatronics engineer Federico Acosta. We're a distributed team with the head office in Munich, 18 distributors around the world, and customers in more than 50 countries.

We earned international recognition as Google Cloud for Startups Program participants, Top-50 fastest-growing startups in Germany, Xpreneurs accelerator program participants, the START Summit Munich 2021, and Jacob Startups Competition winners.
