DKL CHAIRS GmbH

The company Dental-Kunstleder-und Lederservice was founded to repair the upholstery of dental treatment chairs. The company was able to establish this service with dentists with initially only five employees. As a result of contact with an increasing number of customers, the management of the company decided to include X-ray aprons in the range of products.


In order to meet customer requirements, the technology of the individual production stages is being improved continuously. Besides using conventional methods, seamless upholstery is produced by means of a deep-drawing process with state-of-the-art equipment. In the product area InForm, tools and molds for new upholstery parts for various chair manufacturers are produced.

In 1997 the product area D.E.T.CHAIRS comes into being. The production of orthodontal stainless steel treatment units under this brand name begins. Soon after that, treatment units for dentists are also produced under the company name of DKL GmbH.

The DKL units meet with great interest among a continously growing circle of customers well beyond Germany's borders. On 1 January 2009 the DKL CHAIRS GmbH is founded. Under this company name the units are produced and markted today. This spin-off from DKL GmbH underlines the identification of the company with the products of this range.
