Kaji Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of high quality wheelchair gel cushions utilizing EXGEL, the unique material that Kaji Corporation originally developed.
Kaji originally started its business as a shoe manufacturing company in 1969. While developing variety of products, Kaji has succeeded in developing EXGEL, super flexible material that possessed both solid and liquid properties.
EXGEL’s flexibility makes it a perfect material for anti-decubitus medical cushions as it flexibly conforms to any shapes to redistributes pressure and buffers shearing forces. Working closely with professionals of rehabilitation and pressure ulcers society for product developments, EXGEL cushions are carefully designed and manufactured at Kaji's in-house factory under ISO 9001 management system. EXGEL cushions are highly evaluated and achieved top share in Japan.
