For more than 10 years, professional athletes and physiotherapists have trusted in the quality of Kintex. Also in amateur sports and fitness Kintex is indispensable. The quality and the great price-performance ratio as well as the close customer contact are convincing. Kinesiology tapes, fitness and sports articles and sustainable products distinguish the special product variety.
Since 2010, the company Apaloo GmbH develops and produces kinesiology tapes under the brand Kintex. Founder Andreas Jetter originally comes from a completely different field: He used to work as a sports and computer science teacher. The idea to spread the effect of kinesiology tapes and to start his own production came to him in August 2010. After an accident in which he broke his 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae, he was treated in rehabilitation with the help of kinesiology tapes, among other things. He recognized the potential of this treatment method, which was still new at the time, without drugs or active ingredients.
Initially, the product was only offered on Internet platforms such as eBay and Amazon, and later also in the company's own online store www.kintex.de. However, many users lack German-language instructions on how end customers can apply the tape themselves.
Andreas provides a remedy with the help of mini-guides and video clips on YouTube: simple application techniques, easy to understand, for re-taping. In this way, over 40 video guides have been created in recent years. More are planned for 2022.
Kintex continues to expand its product diversity. Our company is now also a manufacturer of medical products and sporting goods for end customers, partners and companies, both on the German market and internationally.
