KuartisMED is a biomedical company with a focus on providing innovative solutions for the wellbeing of newborns.

NeoSAFE assesses the feeding ability of newborns by monitoring respiration and swallow activities of infants while utilizing two non-invasive probes attached to the baby during a feeding session. This solution utilizes the state-of-the-art signal processing and machine learning algorithms. So far, NeoSAFE has successfully completed the CE certification process with a clinical safety report (CSR) and two clinical studies. Besides that, NeoSAFE has been funded by EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument twice in a row. We believe that NeoSAFE will be used for the safe discharge decision of newborns while facilitating screening and treatment of feeding ability disorders.
